Konstantina Portokallidou has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy (2019) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2022 she obtained an MSc from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace after completing her thesis “Elucidating the biological and pharmacological background of Heart Failure; a bioinformatics approach” in the Laboratory of Pharmacology of the Democritus University of Thrace with her mentor and supervisor Professor Vangelis Manolopoulos.
From February 2020 to June 2021, she worked for Pharmathen International S.A. as a Quality Control Chemical Analyst. Currently, Konstantina Portokallidou is a Research Associate for the project Individualised Medicine & Pharmacological Research Solutions Center (IMPReS) (MIS 5047189) which is implemented under the Action “Support for Regional Excellence”, funded by the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (NSRF 2014–2020). Her main research interests focus on proteomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics approaches to cardiovascular diseases.
